Things to do in Miami

Art Deco Historic District

Even if you have no interest in the beach, you should still go to the Art Deco Historic District in Miami Beach. This architectural design from the 1930s and 1940s predominates in the chic South Beach neighbourhood.

TONS OF WATER FUN

The water in Miami offers a variety of entertaining activities outside of the beach. Learn to windsurf, go boating or jet-skiing, go snorkeling or scuba diving, or even go fishing!

Miami Seaquarium

There are several animal shows at the Seaquarium, however as of this writing, the killer whale and dolphin displays have been cancelled. Rest assured that Salty the Sealion is still performing, though! Animal encounters are offered for an additional cost if you want to get up close and personal. These include three opportunities to swim with dolphins, one with penguins, and three opportunities to socialise with dolphins.

Hobie Beach

The Rickenbacker Causeway makes it simple to get there, and parking is delightfully free! Its mild waves (if any) and soft white sand make it one of the region's most approachable beaches.

You should be aware that Hobie Beach has two locations. The region where sailboat rentals and a thriving windsurfing and sailing community are located is the first place you encounter after crossing the causeway. This beach is small and rocky. The primary beach area mentioned above is located further along.

Wynwood Walls Street Art

You can explore on your own or sign up for a guided tour online to gain further understanding of the murals. Visit the Wynwood Walls Museum to view works by well-known artists and buy prints. There are 35 walls, stores, and galleries inside this protected neighbourhood. There used to be no entry price for this location.
